Book Your Visit
Drain removal and seroma care are performed by our Nurse Practitioner. If your surgery was done elsewhere, start with the post-operative clearance evaluation.
Post-Op Drain Removal & Wound Care (NP)
Removal of one surgical drain when clinically appropriate, sterile cleansing, dressings, a healing assessment and home-care guidance. Bring your surgeon's post-operative instructions.
Seroma Evaluation & Aspiration (NP)
Clinical assessment and, when medically appropriate, sterile seroma aspiration to relieve fluid buildup and discomfort. Follow-up care included as needed.
Post-Operative Clearance Evaluation
For surgery performed elsewhere: a clinical review of wounds, drains and sutures or staples, with recommended labs and recovery options. Each service is billed separately.
Wound Healing Lab Panel
Nutritional, inflammatory and blood markers relevant to wound recovery: prealbumin, HbA1c, hs-CRP, zinc, CBC with differential and ferritin.
Pick the service by name in our online scheduler, or call and we'll book it for you.

Seroma & Wound Care
Frequently Asked Questions About Post-Op Wound Care
What is a seroma?
A pocket of fluid that can build up under the skin after surgery. Our Nurse Practitioner evaluates it and, when medically appropriate, drains it with a sterile aspiration. Follow-up care is included as needed.
Do I need my surgeon's approval?
For drain removal, yes: please bring your surgeon's post-operative instructions or clearance. We always work within your surgeon's protocol.
My surgery was done in another city. Can you help?
Yes. The post-operative clearance evaluation is designed for surgery performed elsewhere: we review your wounds, drains and sutures or staples, recommend labs if needed and build your recovery plan from there.
Is this an emergency service?
No. If you have signs of infection, abnormal drainage, severe pain or uncontrolled bleeding, contact your surgeon or emergency care right away.
