Start with the clearance evaluation if you are still planning, or go straight to the lab work if your surgeon already gave you an order.
Pre-Operative Clearance Evaluation
In-person consultation to prepare for your surgery: we review your procedure, the labs and tests your surgeon requires, and optional pre-operative IV support. Labs and IV are billed separately.
Pre-Operative Blood Work & EKG
Basic panel: CBC, CMP, urinalysis with reflex and pregnancy test. Advanced: vitamin D, ferritin, PT/INR, PTT and in-clinic EKG. Bring your surgeon's lab order when you have it.
Pick the service by name in our online scheduler, or call and we'll book it for you.

Pre-Op Clearance
Frequently Asked Questions About Pre-Op Testing
Do I need to fast?
Fasting may be required for certain tests. Follow the instructions from your surgeon or medical provider before your appointment, and call us if you're unsure.
Is lab testing the same as surgical clearance?
No. Lab testing supports your pre-operative medical evaluation, but it does not by itself constitute surgical or medical clearance.
What should I bring?
Your surgeon's pre-op lab order or testing requirements, if you have them. Requirements vary depending on your surgeon and your procedure.
Can you help after surgery too?
Yes. Our post-operative clearance evaluation reviews your wounds, drains and sutures, especially if your surgery was done elsewhere — and our recovery services take it from there.
